Firstly, it’s Saturday … I lurve Saturdays :-)

Secondly, it’s a scorcher … I LURVE hot weather like this :D

Thirdly, I’ve just taken my measurements … WOOHOO!!!

Despite last night’s little cheat session of beer, pizza and ice cream, I’m over the moon about my results!

It’s been about 3 weeks since I decided to knuckle down and do something about my weight and flab and I have now lost 2kgs and about 2cm all over. Check it out:

START -> NOW
Weight: 64kg -> 62kg
Waist (above belly button): 72cm ->70cm
Waist (below belly button): 86cm -> 81cm
Hips: 99cm -> 97cm
Thigh: 56cm -> 54cm
Upper arm: 30cm -> 28cm
Chest: 90cm -> 93cm (but who’s complaining? Not Sir G, THAT’S for sure LOL!)

So … normally with each kg and each cm lost, I lose 0.5% bodyfat. I reckon that puts me at about 26% now.

YAYNESS!!!

I’m really chuffed with these results because I haven’t exactly been 100% disciplined with my nutrition and training. Sure, I could have done better by now if I’d eaten perfectly and trained every day but I’ve allowed myself to have treats and cheat meals and I’ve had days where I didn’t get to the gym at all. However, what I HAVE done is follow a routine that I think is completely sustainable and THAT suits me just fine.

And guess what? I’m wearing a pair of shorts I couldn’t fit into a month ago!

WHAT a good feeling :D

Remember this?

It’s SO going to happen WAH!

    5cm’s off your waist, SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESH! Ok, now that’s just not fair, seriously! I’ve lost about 2.5kg’s so far (easy, I had TONS to lose), but my waist, well I’ve noticed a small difference, but nothing near 5cm, I’m dead jealous right now!

    Ye, somehow I don’t think Sir G will be complaining with the goal being that photo *hells bells*

  2. Dad says:

    Well done. Just keep going the way you are. Much better than trying to sustain something that is just not normal to you.
    Hope the marks on the right side of her stomach are water and not stretch marks.

  3. Chris M says:

    Hahahhahahhahahaha, that’s just brilliant, well spotted @Dad!!!!

  4. justB[coz] says:

    Of course it’s water!!! Tsk tsk … no-one has stretch marks, c’mon!

  5. Chris M says:

    Ahahhahahaha, comment of the day goes to your @Dad :)

  6. justB[coz] says:

    Ah … but seriously, would you care?

  7. Chris M says:

    Care about what?

  8. justB[coz] says:

    About a a few stretch marks on THAT babe? huh?

    I mean … REALLY! She’s HAWT!

    And erm … some of us have those ya’know. We’ze squeezed out kids ;-)

  9. Chris M says:

    Hehe, stretch marks are not a bad thing in my opinion, I think it adds one of those sexy flaws to a person, if that makes sense, almost a natural non photoshop brushed natural I-lived-my-life person. Regardless, the real reason I was laughing is because I totally didn’t see that and your @Dad does the photography thing and so he would spot it – so I just found it a good lol.

  10. justB[coz] says:

    Heh :-)

    Not much gets passed @Dad!

  11. Chris M says:

    Ye, and just the other night, when I had drinks with Justin, the art director from Ogilvie, he was talking about photoshop and the number of shoots he’s been to and seen how the models look before and then how they look after. I find it amazing how an eye gets so trained!

  12. Dad says:

    @Chris M – You probably didn’t even see her stomach :-)

  13. Chris M says:

    Admittedly, I might have focused on something else due to my primal instincts.. :D
