No … not me … for a change :-)

This time, it’s mah kitteh!

Shame man, the older one, Ollie, got into a fight and came home last night with a hole in his head! So I rushed him off to the vet (luckily Sir G was here to give me a hand with him in the car). A quick 750 ronds later (ouch!), he was all shaved, cleaned and injected with antibiotics and I brought him home again.

He’s going to be fine but he’s not allowed to go outside until the wound closes up and startes healing properly, so I have to keep him in my room for now. Of course, that means zero air ‘coz I can’t open the windows and the only work around is to stick him in the cat cage when I need to open the window.

He’s not a happy Ollie Cat! And sjoe, this breaks my heart …

poor Kitteh! hope kitteh recovers soon

  2. Jo says:

Poor kitteh! I hope he feels better soon. At least he doesn’t need one of those surgical collars to stop him licking his wound – one advantage of a hole in the head ;-)

    @Steve … thanks almost-birthday-boy :D

Hoping he can have his freedom again by Sunday.

@Jo … yeah, shamepies, those collars are awful. He had to wear one last year when I, errrr, accidentally chopped his tail off in the kitchen door!

  4. Glugster says:

Poor kitty. A hole in the head and no tail? Hope he gets better soon.

  5. laura says:

    OUCH that looks eina!!

    Shame man poor little thing!

  6. Chris M says:

He’s such a lovely cat! I hope he heals quickly :)

  7. justB[coz] says:

@Glugster … I hope he gets better too … my room’s beginning to pong! He does have a tail man, it was just the end :-)

@laura … it’s a bit distressing to see him like this. At least it wasn’t *my* fault this time though!

@Chris M … isn’t he just? Burmese are so awesome, I don’t think I could get another breed … they really are very special felines! How many breeds can you “talk” to and play fetch with? They’re like little people inside cat suits :D

  8. Leon says:

    Burmese. Lovers, not fighters.

  9. justB[coz] says:

@Leon … Really? I was under the impression that they were very territorial, especially the males. I’ve seen this chap fight – he’s like a vicious flying squirrel monster!

  10. Leon says:

My two couldn’t fight a stuffed toy.
