I’ve never really been one of those people who keeps track of every milestone that passes so I don’t take much notice of anniversaries at all, but for some strange reason I can’t seem to stop thinking about the fact that today would have been my wedding anniversary.
Is that wrong?
That’s encouraging Diago … thank you 🙂
Even after being re-married I still remember the wedding day and the date of the divorce, most likely cause they were in the same month. Nothing wrong with it thought. It is a part of you and at the time a day you couldn’t wait for. Nothing wrong with remembering. Every time you remember it becomes less and less of an emotional thing.
@Dad … “all it should have meant for you” … yeah, that’s what makes me a bit sad. I never, ever wanted things to fall apart. I really thought it was forever.
Anyhoo! It’s history now hey? Just have to suck it up and get on with life.
@Glugster … I feel you Glugs. Totally.
@Chris … It’s not excessively difficult no – just a twinge of soreness every now and then, the odd lump in my throat.
But YES! Drinks are a smashing idea anyway. Let’s do it! 😀
I think it’s perfectly understandable – I hope it’s not a excessively difficult thing for you, if it is, I’ll organise drinks for 6, many of them!
Hmmm. My wedding anniversay is coming up in March. I’d rather not remember.
Because of what happened and the way it all happened I think it is pretty normal to remember this day and all it should have meant for you. I am sure as time passes it will fade away.
