I’m part of a KFC boycott ( http://www.thepoint.com/campaigns/tough-love-for-kfc ) to try to get them to enact their own animal welfare board’s recommendation. The idea is that if enough KFC customers get together and say do this or we’ll stop eating here they will have to listen. It is good for people to just boycott, but the idea is to get people who really like KFC and probably won’t really boycott it to have a way to take part too (with a concentrated, highly coordinated boycott). Anyway, I think it is worth a shot.

KFC………..yooooooooooo. I open the packets when I got home, what a mess. Fed my dogs with it. I will never again get anything from a KFC. This is the kind if service we get from KFC… Ill rather eat from a can, but they will not see the colour of my money again.
Hmmm … not sure if I could do that. But my eyes have been opened and now that ignorance is no longer bliss, I’ll be sure to check out the sources of what I’m buying!!
I have no problem with eating meat or animal products, but I do have a problem if the animals are tortured.
KFC is not cruel to animals nor are McNuggets made in the way Hartman describes.

I’ve only had McD once in my life, but after seeing Super Size Me I will rather eat sautéed road kill before I eat McD again. Same goes for KFC, it’s animal abuse in a family sized bucket.
I’m glad I haven’t had breakfast yet … I had no idea. Mmk, McD’s joins my list of poo-poo’ed companies. Guess I’ll be sticking to Kauai, unless there’s something I don’t know about going on there?!
(Where have I been? Trapped, isolated, stuck – for many years. But that’s another topic entirely.)
Seriously, where have you been? You need to watch “Super Size Me”. You’ll never eat Mc Donalds again.
With the Mc Nuggets McDs were place chickens in a blended whole – feathers and all – and then mixing them with other crap to make the nuggets. So, whenever you eat a nugget you’re actually eating an unplucked, pulverised bird.
This reminds me of the McD’s McNuggets cruelty highlighted in Michael Moore’s Super-Size Me. Amazes me how these companies get away with this sort of stuff.
It’s completely revolting! I haven’t watched the video, I don’t think my heart can take it …
But BIG THANK YOU to you for blogging about Kentucky Fried Cruelty, for enlightening me. I was not aware of their practices before today and I’m glad that I can now make an informed decision. I’m sure others will also be grateful for the awareness you have created.

Vegetarianism?

At this point vegetarianism is a serious option.
@Brenton – HELLOOO!!!!! My gawd, it’s been AGES 🙂 Yeah, I can’t imagine you tucking into a bucket of greasy KFC …
@Richard – I guess I’m going to have to force myself to watch those videos to see for myself. Gulp.
@Marc – you’re right. I shouldn’t be eating that crap anyway! Kauai is delicious and so much better for me anyway.
Kauai is clean living deluxe… you should be safe there…
